proprety planing?

i'm lookin for a website where a guy could plan out his proprety,building placement,driveways,fences,ponds,ect,in scale?? anyone know of something like that? thanx

This place has a bunch of good books on such subjects.

They are associated with Iowa State University (mailing address is in the building my major was out of). Being part of the University just means they don't have anything to sell so IMHO you get more of a straight scoop.

Not sure about to scale, but if you have power point (may be able to use paint also), Pull the satellite view of your property up on google earth etc, get the view you want, then open up your snipping tool (in accessiries if you have it) . Select the area, right click, copy, then open up power point or paint (?) right click and paste.
Then you can work with it.

An old fashioned topo-graphical map - from the county clerk, county extension office, lots of gov't agencies - even sporting goods stores have them, thru some agencies they're free- actually, thinking about it, extension service might have a guy or gal that can go there and help the dreamscape, you sure don't want to bulldoze a pond 6" above grade from the house, or put the septic system above grade of the well, etc etc. That boring stuff is more important than the cute stuff.... some people find out the hard way.....
