In the early seventies a lot of the cotton farmers where I lived still had their Ms and SMs. These tractors would come back to life for two main events, to disk in the Teflan and to cut cotton stalks in the fall. In the red clay in North Alabama a 9' (28 pan) was the most common.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
