Early morning in Australia Arno so I'm only just reading your post. The British tractors didn't come to Australia as we had our own IH factory in Geelong Victoria. The Oz built tractors were identical to the British tractors in nearly every way, glowplugs, three bearing crank etc. Geelong factory was built in late 30's but used for war production nearly immediately and the first tractors rolled the line were built in 1947-48. Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
