The history on this tractor suppossedly is the motor was rebuilt by the local IH dealer about 9 years ago and only had around 100hrs since. My problem is I assumed it was ok and rebuilt everything from the clutch back. I did run it before painting and it seamed ok. All this extra trouble is what I get for assuming. Nothig like ruining a nice and expensive paint job right off the bat. The pistons are IH aluminum and the # is 366483 R1 B. A couple of them have ignition craters in them and a few jagged edges where this occured. I called up the auto parts place where the head is being once overed and gave them the ring # and they ordered rings. I hope those are the right pistons for the motor. The sleaves appear ok and have a minor shoulder @ the top that should be fine with a little honing. The bearing appear brand new and the crank journals look great.
