Wardner: I never owned a pto mount pulley and gear box, other than my Super A. None of my larger tractors had it. My dad's H had a side pulley as did our 300.
The rear mount pulley my neighbor used was obviously designed for pto mount. I do know those rear mount pullies fit a wide range of tractors. The gear box to fit planetary type IPTO would be different from the gear box for clutch pack IPTO. What I do see is the Clutch type IPTO on 350, 450, 460 and 560 had very similar shape casting to 504, 656, 544, 666, and 686 IPTO with hydraulic clutch pack and 540 rpm. Again the large chassis 06, 56, 26 and 66 with dual shaft IPTO had much the shape casting around the 540 rpm shaft. Note I say look the same, I have never checked part numbers, but I believe it is worth a check on CaseIH catalogue site. That PTO mount gear box could be the same for all 540 IPTO shafts after the 350-450. You may even find such an item as a PTO gear box for a 1,000 rpm IPTO shaft. It would be an easy build for IH, 1,000 rpm would be close to a 1-1 ratio. That was always the down side of 540 pullies, rpm was reduced from engine to 540 at PTO then back up to roughly 1,000 for the pulley.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
