We've had a fairly wet year here up until the last two weeks and since then it's been 30 deg C and very humid. I was very glad of the 4-5" of rain as my cistern ran out last week and the well went dry yesterday.
I'm guessing the flat tops are off a later IH as there is some red left underneath the black and the remains of lights in the front. I know they could be made to look quite good on that tractor, especially if they were lowered a bit and painted the same colour but the clearance is required for tire chains. The other catch is that about the only way to get on and off the tractor is to vault over the seat from the rear. I have a set of clamshells on a 300U that will probably wind up on there before too long.
With that said I have a buddy with an H that has a loader on it and we are thinking of putting them on it as he doesn't use chains on it, needs a place to mount lights, and I think I can use them to mount the spool valve and I want to build a hydraulic resevoir into one of them to get the existing converted fire extinguisher off the grill.
