We"ve been using a Tox-O-Wic 500 bu dryer for quite a few years now.Good dryers.Most parts you would need are common bearings,gears,belts,etc.
One of the most important things to keep an eye on are the bearings that support and contain the large sprocket and stirring arm that goes around the base.Grease "em every day and make sure they are turning free.I even grease them when done drying in the fall.Also don"t let the inner chamber temp get any higher than 240 degrees,otherwise the corn dries too fast and wrecks your test weight.The gauge is the large one above the burn chamber facing forward.
We usually run about 2,000 bushel through ours per day.We dry it down to 15.7% and dump it hot in the bin,then put air to it and on to the next.Always have consistant 58 and 59lb. test weights.As far as damage to the grain,it"s not a problem.It actually takes out all the bee"s wings for a clean sample.
