Jim, I had to do a little searching to find backup for what I posted. Take a look at this link. At the top you'll see 12.6 volts is fully charged. Scroll down to the Terminal Voltage section and you'll see that 12.35 volts is 25% discharged, I was pretty close on that at 12.4 volts.
The 12.75 volts that Janicholson mentioned after charging is what I call a surface charge. Bump the starter a few times or turn on the lights for a few seconds and the battery drops to 12.6 volts or darn close to that.
