My first bibs were back in '76, Oskosh with a button fly. Loved those. Had a few pair since, but because I'm one of the fortunate ones who are still thin as a rail, I get to wear jeans without a belt. But come winter, I'm back in Carhartt insulated bibs. They go on in the morning, and don't come off until I'm in for the night. I hang 'em by the wood stove for the legs to thaw and dry out overnight. Bibs can't be beat when wading through knee deep (or worse) snow (don't ride up over boot tops), or working an open station tractor (no crack in the back), or getting down in the snow to hook a chain to a stuck vehicle.
I had a union suit once. Never again. The wife stole it and wouldn't give it up. Besides, I like my tractors red, but not so much my underwear. :-)
