Just an fyi, the baler had sat in an open front shed for 20+ years since last being used. The baler is slick, but a little rust down the chute. Not bad at all, but there.
What I noticed today, that I didn't check or notice yesterday, is that the two bale pressure handles were cranked way down. Probably baled prairie hay last and needed it cranked down to make a decent bale. I believe it was way too tight and I was feeding it too heavy. It has a shear bolt clutch system that should have sheared. I'll look into that.
Thanks for the possible salvage yards. What I need is the carrier bearing, the bearing housing, and the back part of the housing from the bearing back. The shaft that bolts to the flywheel is fine as well as the front short shaft. Bob
