How much acerage do you have? i say if you have 4 or 5 acres, split it all up just in case we have a dry summer again. my dad does that with all his pasture, when the pasture is chewed down he closes that one off and opens another. he never runs outta pasture and never has to feed a single bale of hay during the summer. i do the same with my heifers and milkers and only feed like 3 round bales in a summer
