Dodge must"ve made a few mileage-related improvements. My 2001 Ram 2500 2wd diesel runs an average of 540-560 miles on 29-30 gallons. I think the automatic accounts for a little loss, but my wife refuses to learn to drive a standard. All in all, I"m very impressed. Never again will I own a fuel-guzzling power stroke.
