You must be driving that blue oval stuff. My 03 chevy duramax diesel gets 22 MPG empty going 70 MPH down the road. My 00 gasser would get 12 MPG doing the same thing. Plus around here diesel averages 15 to 20 cents a gallon less. Plus the duramax will last 2 to 3 times as long as a gas and you have a lot more power. My 2cents, Scott.
