From all the test i've ever seen, all of the OEM filters for tractors, there were no bad ones. I can't say the same for off brand or cheapo filters. Fram for instance, they were bought out several years ago, and quality has went way down, but they look the same on the outside! As for oil, i use a good quality oil too, like Shell Rotalla 15w40. It's not hard to see what bigger farmers are useing in there tractors, and i don't see any bigger farmers useing the lowest priced no brand oil, or oil ment for "cars" in there equipment. Robert
