OT Air Rifles

My daughters have asked for a BB/pellet gun this year for Christmas. I don't want to get the standby Daisy spring action BB gun. I think I want a gun that can shoot both BBs and pellets. I think I want one that you pump up with air vs. one that takes a CO2 cylinder. I want one that has open sites for sure, but maybe comes with a scope (I want to teach them how to use open sites before they move onto a scope). I don't think I want to spend more than $100. What do you have for suggestions for me?
