: i have seen the large pasture or road rollers with
: the spikes on them at the highway dept, or farm
: supply stores. you use them to roll and aerate or
: prepare land.

: i have seen smaller versions of these rollers that
: could be pulled behind a garden tractor to do roll
: and aerate a lawn.

: but i can't find one. where could i find a drum
: roller/aerator to pull behind my garden tractor??

Randy, I have also seen them at HOME DEPOT.
My uncle made one fairly easily using an oldGas water heater tank.
Take all the sheet metal and burner out. You will end up with a tank with
a hollow opening thru the center. Fill the tank full of water for weight and
cap the holes with pipe plugs. Slide a piece of pipe thru the hollow tube, conect a couple ofpipe ellbows
and pipe pieces for arms to hook to the tractor.
His didnt have spikes but you could weld some on if wanted.
