I grew up driving a 6006 Deutz in 1975. I went on to work for a large farming company that owned a dealership. I've been to Deutz schools and worked on many and had many employees work on them for me in the 27 years I've been in management. All of our Deutz tractors at the farm are gone now. They would last us about 15,000 hrs before they became unrealiable for our type operators. We still use Deutz powerunits to pump water. We must have 30 out there. The engines are good for about 40,000 hrs before we retire them. Great engines.
