The 6x4 diesels used a Yanmar three cylinder diesel. You need to get those bought fast. The engines will last 3-4 thousand hours easy with little maintenance. As for the clutches and belts. They all can be repaired reasonably. The body parts like fenders and such are the same through the different models. So you can usually find used ones. New are not too high either. I have a 6x4 diesel and I would never go back to the gas one. Much more torque and no idle problems in cold weather. I put more hours on it than any other thing I own.
