I just purchased an International cub on ebay the seller stated everything correctly. My first tractor and I took my son along to pick it up. we thoughly enjoyed getting this home. We would like to order some manuals for this cub. The serial number is 227880J. It has a working hydraulic lift, many parts for cultivators and a homemade scraper blade. I would like to find out what year cub it is, for ordering manuals. My son will be doing any of the real heavy stuff as I am over 60.
We are looking forward to having some fun here.

You need to read the Cub FAQs on ATIS ifyou haven't been there yet.

Mike,
Congratulations! I too was hoping to take that Cub home to add to my collection. The seller said 72 or 74, but I think is was a '66. My top bid was $3.00 less than yours! Now tell me...the picture was so poor, it was hard to tell, but I think it has a complete fast-hitch? Is the sheet metal in good restorable condition?

I had arrangements made to get it as far as Dallas, but it would still have been a 3,000 mile round trip to retreive it to northern Ohio.

Watch out for the tractor bug. Of my 20 tractors, I have acquired 19 since I was a youthful 60. My son can't help me any more...he died a year ago.

Binder Books have the 3 manuals you need, and all are good. Get the operator's manual, service manual, and parts manual. They will help you a lot.
