Could i please get some advice in the wheel rim correct color, of a 1951 Farmall Super A, is it Silver or Red? have seen some done in each color

El Toro, I got them yeller ones too. Lots of people stopped to tell me they were not correct. Good thing I had yeller and not purple paint.

The silver paint from I-H looks great followed by clear coat.

I never thought of clear coating that silver in the cans. That should make it last a lot longer.

Wheels were red and rims were galvanized. Jim Becker posted this pic from the Wisconsin History pictures, dated ca 1950.

Hi mate It should all be silver or galvenized. To the best of my knowledge the Cub is the only one to have red front rims.

Until 1958. From then on, other models had wheel assemblies where the wheel center and rim were one piece. Those wheels were painted as well. Not sure about the earlier Utility models (300, 330, 350) They may have had painted front wheels too.
