I was riding a bicycle along the edge of the road, looking for a piece of a casting, that had broken off my tractor while plowing snow weeks ago. I saw a broken tooth from a hay rake that was laying at the edge of the neighbor's field. I stopped and picked it up so that no one will get a flat tire from running over it. As I turned to leave, I saw the piece I was looking for three feet away from where I had stopped. The red side was down and I never would have found it had I not stopped.(needle in a haystack)

Yes and it's allways right where you left it. St Anthony is the one for lost items. Just say Tony Tony look around, there's a (blank) to be found. Seems to have worked for me more than once.

Isn't it a wonderment how things work out sometimes! I am bad about putting something up for safekeeping and forgetting where I put it. And while searching for something else I have misplaced find it!

SDE, Funny how them things work out, isn't it? What irks me is when you misplace something, and weeks, sometimes months even years go by, long forgotten and it turns up, and has since been replaced and is kinda useless.

Glad to hear you found that piece, sometimes ya get lucky =)
