Hi guys,

I did a little searching around about why the injection pump for our 966 didn't match with the year of the tractor or the motor. Turns out that it isn't a 966 injection pump. The pump is from the earlier build 1466's. Now I just got to thinking about the injector I installed last year. I installed a new injector from the dealer for a 966 gear drive to replace one that was leaking like a pig (I hadn't noticed the different pump yet, and we had the tractor 15 years at that point). Is there any way to find out what injectors are in there, or do I just assume that they put 1466 injectors in it as well? I suppose the injectors are a LITTLE different, aren't they :)
Thanks.

With out pullen each one out and checking Part# or cracking pressures and spray patterns NO . Sounds like the last owner had a pump problem and went bargin basement shoping got the first pump he could find . Here again with out putting that pump on a stand and checking settings or placing the tractor on a Dyno and setting Hp. ya don't know what ya got .

When my dad purchased it, he was told it was cranked up to 110 hp. I had noticed recently that the tamper indicating cable (or whatever it is called) had never been cut and just assumed that the dealer had lied, or someone found some way to reattach it. Apparently, that is how they got the extra hp. Do you happen to know where the part number is located on the nozzle? I put the darn thing in and don't even remember if there was one.
