986 tractor with cab and aux fuel tank has set outside over winter in western WA. The clutch dump valve is sticking in the out position but will snap back if moved a little and then the light will go out. What would cause this to happen? No apparant corrosion around the dump valve spool? Is this a common problem? I have adjusted the clutch free pedal, booster etc by the manual?

Thanks tractor vet. Guess I will have to drop the aux tank and take it out to look --- was hoping for an easier way.

More then likely it has a burr some place or it is bent , only pulling it out and looking it over will tell.
