Started raken at a littel afer ten this morning and had al;l these nice fluffy windrow and was on the last one when a dust devil came up and crossed all the wind rows hay was flyen i'll bet over a hundred feet in the air scattered all the lower half of the field . So back to raken again gathered it all back into nice neat windrows and head up to fire up the 1066 and i took a look over my shoulder and here we go again whole lower half all over the place . Now i like driven tractor as much as the next guy BUT THIS IS getting old sp back down to the lower end and start again my buddy showes up around 12:30 and gets the 1066 warmed up and starts balen as he come over the one hill he just stops dead and stares at the mess , he sat for awhile then just started worken on the upper half while i was tryen to fix the mess that mother nature made . As fast as the wind came up it just died that was fine with me , finished up balen around 3 took the rake back and came back with the bale wagon and got two loads out by 6:30 when it came time to run the white flag up for the day.

At least you got the stems! Sounds like hay for the grinder.
