here in central KY. How's it look in your neck of the woods? We have missed most of the larger storms this spring, hope we can keep it up. Everyone stay safe, If it gets bad just take your repair manual to the shelter with you so you have something to read!! Later, Fireman

We had another hailstorm last night, with a lot of thunder and lightning. It's the third storm since this past Sunday afternoon. The local car dealers are just having a fit. Glad we got our cars and truck put inside!

We got lucky again last night, just some rain. South of us, they got a lot of wind and rain, and possibly a tornado. Hail, too - up to 4.5 inch diameter! I was pretty worried about severe weather last night. I was at work, and the wife was home alone. Plus there was very little wind. It was the calmest thunderstorm I have ever seen. Really eerie! Stay safe, Fireman

Southwest North Dakota. Kinda chilly - 55 degrees with a good stiff wind. Most smart people are still wearing fairly heavy coats. Threats of rain and snow every day this week from the weather service, got one little sprinkle one day and woke up to snow on the windshield of the car this morning.

Dad has been seeding, got another 120 acres in yesterday, and probably another 100 or so today if all went well. Tomorrow I am going home to anhydrous and hopefully keep ahead of the drills. Actually cool weather is kinda nice cuz these old tractors don't have the best air conditioning systems.

Ooops, guess I take it for granted that everyone knows. Around here it is mostly spring wheat, that is what we seed. And a few acres of corn.

Others plant some soybeans, canola, sunflowers, etc.

Lots of threat of storms but so far here in Easterm Kansas it hasn't happened. Seems as though the storms are staying about 50 miles north and south of the Kansas River. Cool and misty here all day.

Spread dry fertilizer yesterday on some brome pasture and would like to see about .25 of an inch of rain, just enought to get things going. Didn't do it earlier because I had planted some clover in the brome and wanted the clover to get a chance to get going without the brome crouding it out. Clover is started now and I need the grass.

The guys trying to plant corn would like to see it dry up so they can finish planting. Everybody has different wants and needs.

Hope everybody has good weather!!!!! !!!!! 1

Fireman and all: Northeast Missouri. Three inches of rain in 45 minutes last Saturday morning. Rain again late this a.m. Millie mowed the lawn early,... with a stocking cap on! Redeeming values? With lots of early green ground cover along the creek, we have a pair of Bobwhite Quail for the first time in four years! RedTed/MO.

It's been in the 90's during the days here in N Louisiana. I have mowed my lawn several times already. Plus we need rain. The only planting I do now is for the Deer, Turkeys etc. Just did my spring planting about a week ago and need some rain on it. To hot out for a old man.

D Webber: If the wind is from the south, I'm close enough so you could hear me holler when the penetrating oil finally does and I get a little purchase from a stuck bolt! Off 61, just north of Bowling Green. RedTed/MO.

Hi Red Ted,
Wow!!!That's coming down hard! Supposed to get down in the 20's here tonight, it will set the grass back 2 weeks. Looks like 2 more weeks of feeding cattle!
