I have sales literature on I.H. 7288 and 7488 "anteater style tractors". Could someone tell me how many of these tractors were made?

Are there any 72 or 7488 tractors in Sask, Canada?

IH built 19 of the 7288 and 16 of the 7488. All 35 tractors still survive yet today.

According to a book I have, International Harvester - Farm Equipment History 1831-1985, there were 36 pre-production model 7288 tractors made. The book also says they were successfully retailed. The sale of IH Farm Equipment division was completed shortly after the 7288 were produced, so no further production occurred. The next development phase was to be a 7688 and 7888 tractor with the largest to have 300 engine horsepower.

I don't know the numbers, but if I recall they assembled a very few to display at state fairs (I actually sat in one). This was just before IH went broke. I heard that they recalled all of these tractors and disassembled them. They also contracted with a toy company (Ertle I think) to make 1/16th size toy tractors to be given to the first buyers of these tractors. I would be surprised if they made more than 5-10 full size tractors.
