Awhile back someone was talking about the bulb number that they had put in the original lights on an H or M Farmall when they converted it to 12 volts, does anyone know what bulb number that was ? I am in the process of converting my H to 12 volt and would like to keep the original lights. Thanks for the help !

John,
I think to replace the 6V 1128 or 1133 bulbs you'll want to get 2320, 2330 or 2350 bulbs.

You can also get single contact bayonet sytle bulbs in halogen now instead of incandescent if you want a lot of light. They'll do 30 to 50 per cent more light at not much more current draw (not that current draw is much of a consideration if you're adding an alternator.) Also, if you want that south of the border look, or to celebrate Christmas, you can get the same bayonet base with red or green LED's now as well. Ain't progress wonderful?

Steve I agree for a Christmas look or parades maybe the red/green look has merit. But for that guy who follows me to work with one red and one green headlight, boo hiss.My nickel
