I want to run something off the belt pulley on my Super M, but I have never seen belts for sale. Where do yall purchase belts? Also, does anybody have a suggestion on something fun to run with a belt?

Round baler belt works good. I never used it, but i know people who do. I comes in many widths, and you can have it made as long as you need it.

I have bought belts at tractor shows and Industrial rubber suppliers.

I cut firewood with mine. We used to run a burr mill for grinding grain, a saw for splitting fence rails, and a Belsaw sawmill. I have seen one belt drive welder. The one belt I bought new is actually a round baler belt. Seeing how bad my old belts are and still working, width doesn't seem to be as critical as I thought it would be. For most things I think you will want to try to stay in the range of 6" to 7" wide.

Greetings Paul,
I am a Janke. I have a cousin Paul. But he doesn't have a tractor with flat belt pulley that I am aware of. To Jason: For me the Amish community was a good source for belts and belt repair. Also, farm auctions sometimes have belts on the junk wagon.

TSC sells them here I have seen threshing machines, buzz saws, hammermills, and shellers run from a flat belt tractor pulley.

Back in the 1950's my Dad had an IH threshing machine, NH forage blower and Case hammer mill that used a 6 inch flat belt that was about 50 ft long. My brother just sold it a couple of years ago. The round baler belt sounds like a good substitute.

Have fun aligning the belt on tractor to machine.
