This may be a no brainer for most of you guy's, but I can't get the fender bolts off. Used lots of WD-40 let it sit awhile. Got one out then my impact wrench rounded off the edges on the rusted hex bolts. A size smaller socket won't fit and a proper sized one is too loose. Is there any special tool that may work? Can I use a torch on the axel without damaging the insides? Any help is appreciated.

Well they are all out and the fenders removed.
A good dose of heat (10-15 minutes) per bolt did it.
Thanks to all who posted.

I had the same problem a fews back. I ended up using a hack saw but I didn't have a torch.

I had the same problem on a 450D I got from dad. There were several broken off level with the axle housing in it.
I started to drill them out but a man many years my senior...and a lot smarter told me how to do it.
He told me to take a 1/4" thick piece of flat metal and drill a 3/8" hole in it. Set it on top of the remainder of the bolt and weld it to the bolt thru the hole uning an electric welder. Let the bolt cool a little, bend the metal up enough to get your hand on it and begin to work the metal back and forth like a breaker bar. It will come loose and come right out.
He was right. The heat expanded the bolt enough to break the rust. When it cooled, the metal acted like a handle and they came right out. I had 3 bolts out in under an hour like this. 3 holes, 3 welds and I was done.
Sometimes experience counts.
Good luck....

I found some stuff at the parts house called "Sea Foam - Deep Creep". I've used two cans so far and I'm impressed. It's a little pricey, seems to me to work pretty good. The PB Blaster works good also.

You should be able to use a torch without doing any damage, just heat the area around the bolt, grab onto the head of the bolt with a GOOD pair of vice-grips, and work that bolt back and forth, don't try to take it out all in one motion, work it back and forth, and if needed, reheat the area. You may not have given the WD-40 enough time to work, sometimes letting it soak overnight is not enough.
Others will say you should have used another product, such as PB blaster, if that bolt was stuck tight enough, that would not have worked either. I have tried them all, one is not much better than the other.
