Lossen the bolt on the lower clutch pedal shaft and rotate the slotted lever until there is one inch of pedal free travel. Retighten the bolt before making this measurment, it might take two or three tries.

There is another type clutch adjustment, remove the hand hole cover, remove the cotter pin from the yoke pin. Now remove the yoke pin and move the yoke foreward so you can lossen the lock nut on the clutch rod. This is not always easy and some mechanics leave this nut off. Now screw the yoke in/out until you have 1 3/16" clutch pedal free travel.

Go up through the hole where the clutch housing joins the transmission. If I'm wrong, someone will correct me and it won't hurt my feelings. Seems like I adjusted something recently with a slot on the clutch pedal. I work on everything and some of it runs together.
