Anybody know when IH made 3 bar steel wheeled hay rakes. I use one every year and it works pretty well.

Charlie: IH started building those types of rakes around 1910-1915 and they were producad into the late 1940s. The last of them had V type angle iron tongue for tractor use. Many of them had the wooden tongue cut off for tractor use. The last of them were also on rubber, but I think steel was available until the end. My dad bought one in 1942 on rubber and with the steel hitch.
