You must have a model M. Is yours a Fluted feed? I have a book for my drill. If yours is a Fluted feed. It has a grain indiator plate on each side of the seed box in the back. At the top it has Millet. (Qts) Next down is Flax.(Qts) Then Wheat-Rye. (Pks) At the bottom Oats-Barley. (Pks)

4 Pecks is 1 bushel.

What do you want to plant? If your planting wheat. The feed cup bottom adjustment should be in the middle. I plant wheat at 8 or just better then 8 pecks per acre.

Not sure if it is fluted feed or not. It has a disc that is kind like a cup that turns and puts the seed out. I have a Seeding Rate chart in the left hand side of the seed hopper but it is so rusted that I can't read it. I was wondering if anyone had a good one that could be copied or something.

From what you are telling me now. I think you have a double run feed type of drill.

I can't help you with that type.

yeah... that's what I said... a bushel (4 pecks) and a peck (1 peck) = 5 pecks. At least where I went to school.
