I have replaced a gasket on the hydrolic pump. It mounts under the tractor. The pump will raise the bucket but will not lower it (it has no reverse travel). It appears the arm inside the pump can only go one way but obviously I'm wrong otherwise it would work. Any ideas on reassembly?

Sounds like maybe when you put it together the finger from the outside lever didn't get into the slot onthe valve control on the inside.

The belly pump hydraulics on a Farmall H are only one/way. All of the outlets (3) two on one side and one on the other are pressure out and gravity back.

You should only have one hydraulic line going to the cylinders. It furnishes the hydraulic pressure to extend the cylinder. When released it allows the fluid to flow back into the pump. If you have two/way cylinders on your loader you need to have a air inlet fitting on the retract hydraulic inlet.

GOOD LUCK
