Found abandoned in a New Mexico desert, can anyone provide more information on the model/year of this old IH? crawler? Photo posted at URL provided.

I think it is a TD-14 or TD-14A. I have both a TD-6 and a TD-9 and it looks bigger than either of them. Since it only has one exhaust stack it can't be a TD-18 (too small anyway). It definitely has the remains of a Bucyrus-Erie dozer with a crankshaft driven hydraulic pump.

The five lower rollers and the sides of the seat being lower than the hood height make it a TD-14 or TD-14A.

I most definetly am not an expert on crawler tractors, but it looks to be too large, and too long, to be either a TD6, or a TD9. I would venture a wild guess that it is a TD14.

Looks to me like a TD6 with the remains of a Bucyrus-Erie blade.

I think it is a TD14 or TD14A. Dam good crawlers and called Trac-Trac-Tors by IH. Rastas

Looks like a TD6 some where around a 1956 give or take a few years but it also could be a TD9 what else do you want to know about it I just sold one of them about 2 years ago
