Hello Mike, --- 21 / Oct. / 2003 ---

About the only that you could date your "Farmall B" is to get a "Cast Date" (or Chassis Date) off of the Chassis.
It would read something like this 2*25*E (Feb. 25, 1959), but not this reading. It would be on the axle howizing or some where on the Chassis.

The motor may have been replaced so that would be out.

There is no seat bracket. Looks like after market seat. The #number is off the block where you mention. Could this be a replacement block? Thanks

It may be a replacement, I don't know what prefix and suffix letters were used on replacement blocks.

That doesn't look like a serial number, a Farmall B serial number prefix should be "FAB" for both the chassis and engine.
What part of the tractor did this number come from?
The chassis serial number should be stamped on a plate on the inside of the left side seat bracket. The engine serial number should be stamped on a raised boss on the right side of the block just below #1 sparkplug.
Check those places and post back with what you find.
