I WAS HEADED FOR THE HOUSE IN THIRD GEAR WHEN THE SUPER M STOPPED MOVING. POWER TAKE OFF WORKS ,ENGINE RUNS GOOD . I JACKED UP THE REAR WHEELS AND THEY BOTH SPIN. I CAN NOT MOVE THE GEAR SHIFT KNOB.

Probably the shifting fork moved and shifted into neutral. The shifting lever is probably still in 3rd position. Is that right? If so you will need to remove the pin that holds the shifting lever in place, realign the shifting lever in the shifting fork, reinsert the shifting lever and replace the pin. Probably the shifting lever is worn on the end and needs to be rebuilt. Been there done that. There may also be a problem with worn shifting forks under the deck. Just my 2 cents.
