While tearing the power steering off the 460 utlity I noticed I have this machine half apart. The question is>> Since I have it this far down..should I attempt to put a new clutch in it even though I don't know that the old one is bad?? Is there some way to tell what the integrity of the clutch is?? Thanks in advance guys.

No you don't have to split it to get the sterring box off. It was actually not to bad to get the power steering off..make sure you have some swivels for your sockets.

Chris,

If I've got *anything* torn down to the point that the clutch is right there in front of me, I replace it unless I am absolutely certain of it's condition.

Just makes good sense in my mind. Might as well do it while you are in there.

Allan
