Hello,
Can you help me with determining a value on a 1953 Farmall Cub? It has power takeoff, a disc, a sidebar cutter and a plowblade. It is in good condition, runs and has been stored inside our barn. I would like to determine a fair price for it.
Thank you for your help!

In my area (central Mi.,) I have seen them go for $3000, in very good condition, basically restored. You may want to check the classified adds on this part of the YTmag site to get idea of what it is worth.

very interesting-in Ky 1500 on a good day bank more on 1000. Of course our neck of the woods is loaded with small cultivating tractors. Used on every farm in ky for tobacco-bases practically gone

I suppose that folks here know that the cub is sort of collector item (to a point) only 8HP though. And the new tractors under $4000 are not that great and would never last 40-50 years. The older cubs and cub cadets are very durable and have also seen cubs from the 70-80's sell in the $600- $1000 range in my area. My neighbor bought a 1973 cub 154 loboy 5 years ago for $1600 I think. He uses it for mowing.
