New hydraulic pump?

I am looking at putting on a Freeman loader (trip) on my H and have a few questions. The cylinders are oversized as the previous owners used it to lift 2200 lbs hay bales. Will the stock pump on the H satisfactorily lift this loader? If not, how hard is it to change this out?

I'd like to see an H lift a 2200 lb. haybale, and then carry it. I know there's no way mine would do it, I wouldn't be able to steer it.

The stock pump should work just fine. Might be a little slow, since the oversize cylinders require more oil flow/capacity.

The loader was originally on his 560 (which he used to lift the bales). Mine might be used to lift a few hundred pound bales into the mound but that would be the extent of it. I have a loader already on it but it has seen much better days hence the reason for the new loader.

How slow do you think would be slow? Full lift in 2 minutes or 30 seconds?

It all depends on the difference in the size of the cylinder bores. A good guess would be about twice as long as your current loader. But then you will be getting better control in that the loader will not be raising as fast. If you are using the old one-way cylinders then you will also get better control in the "controlled" lowering.
