Hi, my 606 needs a new engine. replace with a ?? maybe one from an old combine ?? Anyone, any idea's? Thanks Richard

why not rebuild your current engine? a used enging might be ready to lay down also . do it right and you wont have to keep spending money all of the time . give easy bob's tractor parts a call 765-675-2530

Wilson, if this is the tractor that I think it is, it is west of us over on the In./Il. line, and it has an extra hole in the block, fairly large from what I understand. I think that he is at least going to have to find a block, from what that he told me, IF this is the same tractor.

No I'm not restoring it for fun, I need it and there are plenty old, running combines around with an engine that might fit (international 803?????).
Block is useless or needs about 2000$ in spare parts. Combine will cost me 50$, the most.
Nope I'm not west of you or you live in Alberta.

Oh, well pardon me. I have heard that the 615 combine engine is basically a drop in replacement for the 606, and 460 tractors, you might check that out.
