More broken parts!!! OH NO!!!

Well,, I found the differntial carrier is broken in the H rear end I am rebuilding,, Where the brake pinion housing bearing attatches to the carrier, snapped off!!! I have another carrier to install,, would it be a good idea to have it magnafluxed to check for cracks??? Chad

Just taking the "devil's advocate" position....wouldn't it be better to have it magnafluxed NOW, while it's out...so you'll know what condition it's in...rather than have to pull out ANOTHER busted carrier after that six-hoss 460H opens up the governor...all because you DIDN'T check it? Don't know about YOU, but I think I'd sleep better knowing than not knowing.
