I'm trying to pull the valve cover off of my recently acquired Regular (1932 model). It seems to be holding firm. Do the Primer Cups need to be removed in addition to the two retaining nuts or is it just being stubborn? I don't want to pry or pull to hard and break something. Thanks. Dean.

Yes, the primer cups have to come off. they are 1/8 pipe thread and sometimes the pipe comes with the cap, don't realy matter.

I "inherited" mine from my father in law from Phoenixville, PA. I'm in Pasadena, between Baltimore & Annapolis.
