After owning several Farmalls, I got my nerve up and decided to overhaul a M that I brought home in pieces. Half of it was on the trailer, the other half was in the truck. I did the whole 9 yards. I had the crank turned, the head rebuilt and milled, yada, yada, yada... Well tonight, after several mounths of work, and waiting on parts etc. I fired that bugger up. Wow, what a feeling to hear that sucker fire off. The oil pressure shot right up, and she runs like new. I am looking forward to figuring out how to use the 9 speed trans it has.

Remember that on a nine speed the pto also runs faster, brotherinlaw had a nine speed on an M,hooked up to an auger broke pto shaft and also his arm.

Sure is a great feeling when the engine comes to life the first time, isn't it?
Congratulations.
