Dan: I do know another guy that did all the items Duane has done and others have mentioned. He went one step further and turned hp up to 160 hp. After 2 years of this a new 1486 was purchased and the turbo kit for the 966 was removed. I do have to agree with the others, 120 hp will work fine, but you can achive that without the turbo. Remember, once you install that turbo, my guess is you will never enjoy the kind of fuel efficiency you now enjoy on light work. No one has all heavy work. I had a 1066, it always dynoed 160 hp. I also had 6 other smaller tractors and 2 skid loaders for lighter work. Believe me, the only time that 1066 was ever started was when the job at hand required 120+hp. Now if you are talking tractor pulling, 600, 800 or a 1,000 hp will go over just fine also, 45 seconds down a track is not work, just warm up. You get them sucking back 6, 8 and 10 gallons of fuel per hour, for 10, 12, 16 or 24 hours non stop, it takes performance. I have seen my 1066 go 24 hours per day for 5 days at a time, burning 10 gallons of fuel per hour, excepting fuel up time. If you want to work them like that leave them as they came from factory.
