Hello! I work nights at an International Truck dealership in Saint Louis. We currently have an S-1850 in the shop for an engine replacement. It has the 9-Liter V8 diesel. Is this an improved version of the old DV 550 that was used in the 1468 and 1568 farm tractors? It does not have a turbocharger.

Thank you! The new Re-Man engine should be in early next week. I am anxious to see it and hear it run!

My Son spent most of this past summer driving around the Midwest in an S-series 24 ft. straight truck W/9.0L V-8. He said it ran rings around the trucks with DT-360's. But the Guys with DT-466's would have to stop & wait for Him to catch up all the time.
