I agree with Paul. You are probably better advised to buy an item like this new. Remember that early H's had a cut-out box (very simular in appearance to the regulator) instead of the voltage regulator. The cut-out box can be converted to the voltage regulator with minor changes. The cut-out box has one set of points inside and the regulator I think has 3 sets of points inside if it is in question which one your looking at. Now then, if buying new regulator, make sure you are buying the right one as far as 12V / 6V, or positive/negative ground. The cut/out box is likely not available new, but you could probably find a functional one of them in salvage yard. Wichever one you are working with, make sure you wire correctly and polarize because it doesn't take long to fry something if wrong.

Kyle, Rather than take a chance with a used regulator from someone here, I would think it more reasonable to check first with your closest Case IH dealer and purchase a new regulator. You'd have to think most anything you would get from here would be used and if its not on a tractor that it could be defective, or at the very least questionable. They aren't that expensive new, and you would save on shipping also.
