have a chance to trade for a super M TA in nice shape. I put 4 new tires and rims on it about 5 yrs ago, hardly worn. He wants to swap it for a pair of tires put on his 966. What's a decent super M TA worth and how expensive is the replacing the TA gonna be. Thanks Mike

The way you have described the super m-ta, I would give it an estimated $1,800 to $2,000 easy. Could be closer to $2,500. That's with the TA not working.

thanks for the reply. If I got the tractor would take care of my "fun" money for a bit. Couldn't you run the tractor for a time by not pulling the TA? w/o doing any more damage? Others have suggested getting it and just selling as is....

It doesn't hurt to run the tractor around without using the TA- that's why most of them are not fixed. Rebuilt units run about $350-$500...and of course you have to split the tractor to get it out. Not too bad of a job if you have the shop space and the time to do it.

I've put TA's in a 706 an 856 and a 1066. Imagine a super M TA will be more fun
