I have a 52 Super C that runs fine when I first start it but after it runs for a while and gets warmed up it starts missing real bad. It does it all of a sudden. It will run, but poorly with the choke wide open. Sure would appreciate some advice .Thanks very much.

i have the same problem with my C, i'm told that my float needs adjusment to allow more fuel flow but i have no original measurement to go by. this means a lot of work removing, adjusting and reattaching the carb.. ..... ... maybe someone else knows the correct adjustment?

Have seen this several times on my JD's, but usually the tractor will die. It was the condensor.

Take a look at my earlier posting under the heading of coil testing; you could also try cleaning the points and re-gapping them.

You could have a bad coil.. also check to make sure you have a good flow on your carb out of the tank.. Maybe the opening in the tank is plugged or the screen is plugged on your glass sludge separator
