I've found an old loader. Looks like it may have been made in the 30s or 40s. The loader part is where the lift arms would be, the seat faces backwards, has 1 single wheel for steering, and the steering wheel comes straight up no slant at all. What model could this be and is it worth anything. It does run good and everything works. thanks

Hunter: I guess what you are saying is the loader is facing what is nirmally the back of tractor. In other words the whole tractor has been reversed. Some of these were home built modifications and some were factory. IH sold forklifts built this way. Really they are just a normal tractor with crown gear installed on the oposite of pinion to reverse travel speeds, and they build an operators platform to suit. If you check the tag or if you know the components well enough you should be able to identify the model.

I rather doubt if it is as old as you think. A good way to identify on here is post a picture or go through photo gallery looking at photos on styling. You can pick grom either F series, letter series or the late 50s number series and go from there.
