What plug will get you the best spark for a 6-volt H with mag system? Can you use the new type bosch platinum plugs? Any help will be appreciated.

Most guys use AC or Autolite. You might take one of the old plugs out and see what you think about a Bosch platinum plug working. Buying a set of manuals is money well spent.

I would be interested in seeing other's thoughts here too. A retired mechanic I know has told me several times not to put platinum plugs on anything without an HEI ignition or a hotter coil because the platinums are actually harder to fire (meaning takes a higher voltage) than the standard plugs. I have seen no documentation either way, just wondering other's experience?

Thanks guys for your thoughts. I do not think I will put Bosch platinum plugs in since I have not seen a cross-over yet and the higher voltage issue makes sense. I have emailed Autolite people at Honeywell but they have not gotten back yet. I will post anything I hear as it sounds like a few other guys would alos be interested.
